THIS SEASON ON BITMAP

This season is about preparing for the crypto winter ahead of us, where the real work begins.

The coming season of Spring will bring new beginnings, so this Winter is a great opportunity to tie up loose ends, and get everything in place to begin with new ideas.

There are big opportunities on the horizon, which means many challenges. Over the course of this season, we are hard at work on more on-chain infrastructure, and maintaining the recently released atlas.land project.

In the background, we are planning something big that aims to be a through-line into the next era of Bitmap. That is, the Bitmap Nation State.

You will hear more about this through regular town halls on X, what this means (and doesn’t), and the potential of Bitmap as an actual State.

It’s time to raise the bar for how we collaborate and organized on Bitcoin itself. Last season, we experimented with Guilds. There’s a lot of room for growth in this area, but my general feeling is that it would be best to start to move these sorts of organising principles on-chain. After all, that is what this is all about.

Time to batten down the hatches and settle in. Winter is now, but crypto winter is coming!
