Citizen

All members of the Bitmap community are known as Citizens regardless of their role or responsibilities within the community. Anybody can be a Citizen, and nobody can strip a Citizen of this title.

Apprentice

When you join a Guild as an Apprentice, you join a Triad with one Journeyman and one Master of the Guild. They will work with you to complete your Apprenticeship and become a fully fledged Journeyman of the Guild.

Journeyman

These are guild members who have completed their Apprenticeship. Once you have reached Journeyman status, it is permanent. It represents a recognition of achievement within the Guild, but not ongoing responsibilities.

To progress to become a Master, you must support a Master in a Triad to complete a project with an Apprentice, demonstrating a level of Mastery defined by the Grandmaster in any number of tasks set by the Master in your Triad.

Master

There can be many Masters within the Guild. Masters are recognized specialists with ongoing responsibilities within their Guild. To maintain the Master status, they must fulfill their responsibilities to the level required by the GrandMaster.

All Masters are Council Members of their Guild, and Officers of the Global Guild Hall. Being a Council Member means to be part of the decision making process for your Guild and maintaining agreed upon responsibilities.

If the responsibilities are not fulfilled, the Master may lose his rank and drop back down to Journeyman status.

Grandmaster

There can be only one Grandmaster for each Guild. Grandmasters are the leaders of their Guilds, and are responsible for oversight of the entire ogranization.

Grandmasters are also part of the Council of Grandmasters, which is a non-specific Council for the cross-pollination of the running of Guilds.

More info will be provided on this structure soon!
